Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham
Allaway Acoustics have recently completed the installation and commissioning of the state-of-the-art Audiology Facilities at the new Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.
Working closely with the Architects (BDP) and the design team at Balfour Beatty Construction, the new facilities include a suite of four Adult Audiology Test Rooms and a Vestibular Test Room all completed to an extremely high quality finish.
The rooms have been independently tested and proven to achieve the specified criteria in ISO8253.
Access to the rooms is from a busy main corridor, and to achieve minimal intrusion into the pedestrian route, manual sliding timber acoustic doors have been incorporated which have been specifically designed to match the other doors used in the hospital.
